The Kiwanis Club of Cicero will award a one-year/one-time $2,000 Technical/Vocational School Scholarship to a graduating Hamilton Heights High School Senior. This does include home-schooled students. The intent is to provide financial assistance to a student that:
- Has achieved a GPA of 2.0 or greater
- Is pursuing additional education at a technical or vocational school, or a two-year degree program.
- Has a financial need for the scholarship
- Has been involved with school and/or community activities
- Will present his/her qualifications at the Cicero Kiwanis Scholarship Presentation Day.
Scholarship Applicant Presentation Day:
Student applicants will be required to present at a Kiwanis Club of Cicero meeting, as a part of the application process. The applicant will receive an email specifying the date and time of this year's Scholarship Applicant Presentation Meeting, which is usually a Saturday morning in April, at 7:30am.
